Ready for 2023?

 

• The 2022 3rd Quarter Report is due April 15th. If you have any issues or questions – let me know(all analytical phases are completed at this time)

 

• The 2023 SCOPE OF WORK is due by April 30. This year, a fillable form has been provided by PVD. It can be accessed from the PVD website or it is also available on our clients page.

 
We will be working to get accurate parcel counts for different property classes needed to complete the SOW. (Sorry- can’t help you with severed minerals, pp or oil and gas counts) We will send these to you be email in the next couple of weeks.
 

• The 2023 BUDGET is also due on April 30. The pvd template is also a fillable form and available on their website or our clients page above.

 

• It is more important than ever to begin the 17% review as soon as possible. – Given staff issues, weather issues and covid issues, some counties struggled this year to complete in a timely manner. Failing to get the 17% review done delays the completion of other phases as well. In an attempt to help – we are doing the 17% reinspection queries for each of our clients and will generate the list manager list and an excel file of properties that need review for this year (anything from 2016).  It’s up to you whether you want to use this data or generate it yourself but it will be available in the next week or so as a link on our website or by email. We will update you when it is ready. ( you can use this info to generate PRC’s or files for 17% review.)

 

• We have already had a request from one county for Income & Expense Mailers for 2023. We have updated the program and can deliver the program or a list of properties to you now if you would like to get a head start on this. Because we combine data from multiple counties, if one county delays the process or fails to complete it in a timely manner, it delays all. Even if you want to wait for awhile to mail, it is very important that mailers go out by no later than July 15th.

 
 
One of the biggest problems we face each year is lack of proper sales file maintenance and documentation. We are working to improve this in two ways:

1. Offering some additional in-county training for sales processing – we will contact each client soon and begin setting up a day either in individual counties or in small groups for training.

FYI:

• We are working on creating GIS Dashboards for our clients which you can access for several forms of information – we will update you on this as we progress.
• We are almost complete for a training class on data collection and 17%.
• While we haven’t been able to generate statewide support for our commercial data base – we will be updating sales information for our clients and making this available. We need your support.
• Contracts will begin to arrive by mid-April.

 
We hope that things can return to normal this year and we look forward to 2023.
