The deadline to appeal a specific sale used by PVD in the 2022 ratio study is May 16th but the deadline to request the application of a time trend to sales is April 15th. Due to the market increases, most counties' ratios will benefit from an application of a positive trend. We will be happy to assist you with this but you will need to contact us as soon as possible. We will compile statistical trend data  based upon the market pubication data, the variance in mean/median sales prices from 2021-2022, the applied index to 2022 and 2023 values and Zillow available data for avg sales prices between 2021 and 2022. Just a reminder that the 2024 SCOW is due to PVD by April 30 along with their budget form. These templates are available on PVD's website and also on our website on the "Client Information" page..  A scope or work parcel count document will be emailed to you by our staff and will also be available on your county's page link on our website (don't forget your password)

With a few exceptions, Valuation notices should be in the mail and we're waiting..... This should be an interesting year with the value increases that occurred in 2022​. We've seen some tapering off of value increases and activity since mid- 2022 and we hope our more moderate approach to values will be justified.

It's not too early to be thinking ahead - both compliance-wise and for 2024 values.

This is a reminder that PVD compliance requires the following by March 15. If you're ready - we recommend completing these before hearings begin.

We recently sent you samples of the narratives/questionnaires that are required. The blank forms are on PVD's website if you haven't already downloaded them. If you have any further questions, let is know.

There are 2 query reports that they are requesting (extract reports) If you have trouble with these, let us know.

Also required are the worksheets for grain elevators, feedlots and affordable housing. These have all been provided to you but if you need a link to them let us know. Our staff is currently re-checking the values in ORION  to verify that they match those on the worksheet. If we find any problems, we will contact you.
